Hi! Here are some pics from my time in Israel. I hope they inspire people to consider going there, it's a beautiful country with stunning scenery. It's long Mediterranean coast provides plenty of beaches with white sand and clear, warm waters. The port of Eilat in the south of the country is located at the northern tip of the Red Sea where the waters are even warmer and abundant with fish and beautiful coral. The country's urban areas include the cosmopolitan city of Tel Aviv, the Holy city of Jerusalem, steeped with so much history and the beautiful harbour-side city of Haifa ..

Hi Emma-lou
It sounds and looks like you had an amazing time around the Sea of Galilee during your vacation. You definately chose some of the top spots to visit.
I especially loved your account of the Yehudiya trail. I actually did this trail for the first time nearly 30 years ago. And guess what! There were no ladders to climb down in those days. WE HAD TO JUMP! scary at the time!!! and although it took me 3 hours .YES! 3 hours to find the courage to jump, the feeling was exhilirating afterwards.

There are so many more amazing nature walks in the area. I have recently put up a site called Israel Travel Secrets (see my signature) where I talk about my own experiences around Israel.
