Where is the best place to live?

If you had to choose where to live, where would you live?

Just read a post about where was the best place to travel, and thought of raising a different challenge.
As you know one thing is the best place to travel as a tourist and stay for a month, and another thing is where to live, raise your family and spend most of your life.

Me personally the best place to travel was Costa-Rica it has a stunning green scenery with lush mountains, flora and fauna and the beaches are just out of this world,
But I would never live there, since I won't make there enough money for living the level and standard I am used to, and apart raising my kids there is too risky, since the country is not safe at all.

So when you make your choice please think about money, safety, how friendly the people are and of course a place you would like and enjoy its beauty.
Don't bring up just a place you will earn loads but there is nothing to do for fun there....

For me I would like to live in Italy, I like Italians they are so warm, and know how to welcome people. They also have in some cases short temper, which make them not boring.
And Italy... oooh what a place, Great food, safe, and has amazing scenery of green fields, mountains, the Alpines and really nice places to trek.
Italian food is also my favorite.

So where would you like to raise your family if you had the choice?

I'm currently living in Buenos Aires and I gotta say, it's pretty amazing. A bit expensive for my taste though. I've also lived in Barcelona which is great.

If you're looking for a 20 dollar a day destination where you can live for a while, look in to Thailand, Cambodia and Malaysia.

I live in Carlifornia and love my state a lot. I feel lot more comfortable and secure here. Have been to Vegas, Nigara Falls and Australia but I love being here at my own place.

I really would suggest staying out of the United States if at all possible. If you can, I would migrate into Australia. It would be the best choice of the ones which you have mentioned.
You do not say how old either of you are? This would determine what type of a visa you might be eligible for or whether or not you would be able to migrate.

The most cherished destination on earth is Zurich with a population of 376,815. The place is also known as the commercial, financial and cultural hub of the country. Located at the northwestern part of Lake Zurich, close to the River Limmat, this city is considered as the paradise of earth. The splendid Zurich boasts of over 2,000 bars and restaurants along with a magnificent view of the Alps and Lake Zurich. The beautiful scenic views and excellent living standard of Zurich entitle the place with a nickname of "City of Best Quality Life."

Undoubtedly for me Switzerland is the ultimate leader of the best places where to live. But you are rather right for saying that when you choose a place for relocation you need to take in consideration much more things than just a beauty of the place.

In my personal opinion : Germany, or some other Western European country. I think Sweden has like the lowest crime rate in the world and the best education.

The best place to live is where your friends and family are. If I had to choose somewhere else to live it would be Georgia. Beautiful state, stays warmer longer, and never to cold in the winter.
